Freelance Journalist, writer and critic posted a seemingly sarcastic but relevant question to the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) following the recent suspension of a core party member, Allotey Jacob.

The former Central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress, Bernard Allotey Jacob’s was on Wednesday, May 6th, suspended for what they refer to as “consistent anti party conduct.”

Manasseh who seem to have an issue with the grounds for suspension took to his Facebook page to ask the following sarcastic but very relevant question:

“If it’s about Allotey Jacob’s “unpatriotic” comments about the NDC then Rawlings has said worse things? Or his letter is still being typed?”.. He questioned.

It is undeniably true that Jerry John Rawlings has consistently criticized his own party officials openly for things he thought they did wrong, even to extents that gives certain advantages to their direct political rivals. This seem to create a some magnitude of friction between him and some party members and leaders alike.

Do you agree with Manasseh that the former president and founder of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) should equally be sanctioned using same logic with which Allotey Jacob was suspended?
