YouTube set to remove videos that claim 5G and COVID-19 are related.

YouTube has announced it’s intentions to delete videos which promotes the claim that COVID-19 and 5G are related.

Many people believed that, the cause of the corona virus is out of the result of the strong radiations coming from the 5G towers being installed in some parts of the world.

This strong believe of people in UK has caused them to burn down the 5G towers.

This has raised the concern of the UK government.

However, the UK government has called on social networks to prevent the information that supports the idea that, COVID-19 and 5G are related.

YouTube happens to be one of the social networks to undertake this exercise to prevent the information regarding 5G and COVID-19.

YouTube has previously deleted videos about the cure for corona virus and their treatments in order to prevent misinformation.

“We have clear policies that prohibit videos promoting medically unsubstantiated methods to prevent the coronavirus in place of seeking medical treatment, and we quickly remove videos violating these policies when flagged to us(…).” says a spokesperson from youtube to business insider.

YouTube us now promoting information about COVID-19 from data gathered from world health organisation.
