He set a new world record on September 22, 2021, by moving 20 meters in under a second while only using his hands.
He was given the title of Guinness World Record Holder. Not only that, but he walked the entire distance in 4.78 seconds.
He was moved around the foster care system for almost 16 years in the hopes of finding a forever family. After some time, he was taken in by Kimberli Hawkins, a devoted mother.
She had always desired a son, and the two have a particularly close relationship. His adoption, he once said, was the best thing that had ever happened to him.
Regarding his biological parents, nothing is known. As a novelist, he released a book called “No Excuses.” In 2018, he made a cameo in “Zion,” a Netflix one-minute biopic about his life.
The film’s debut was on August 10, 2018. He is now preparing for the 2024 summer Olympic and Paralympic Games.
