Cole Hinton Anthony, a professional basketball player for the NBA’s Orlando Magic, was born in the United States on May 15, 2000.
Cole Anthony guided his group to the GEICO High School Nationals semifinals. Anthony became the first player in school history to average a triple-double with 18.5 points, 10.2 rebounds, and 10.2 assists per game as he helped Oak Hill to a 31-5 record. He was selected for the MaxPreps All-American third team and the USA Today All-USA first team.
Due to his accomplishments in both basketball and school, Anthony was named the Virginia Gatorade Player of the Year. At the McDonald’s All-American Game, when he recorded 14 points, five rebounds, and seven assists, as well as the Nike Hoop Summit and Jordan Brand Classic, he was voted MVP.
