Couple and their guests run away as COVID-19 task force storm their wedding ceremony

Ban is been placed on wedding ceremonies and all forms of social gatherings as Nigeria fights coronavirus. According to their President Buhari, even if a marriage should still hold in these times, then the people in attendance must not be more than 50 and social distances regulations and other safety measures must strictly be observed….

Ban is been placed on wedding ceremonies and all forms of social gatherings as Nigeria fights coronavirus. According to their President Buhari, even if a marriage should still hold in these times, then the people in attendance must not be more than 50 and social distances regulations and other safety measures must strictly be observed.

Well, all these directives have fallen on deaf ears to this couple who have decided to marry against all odds and their beautiful ceremony got crashed by COVID-19 taskforce.

Members of the Cross River state COVID-19 taskforce disrupted the wedding that was held at the Christ Apostolic Church in Calabar, the state capital yesterday Saturday May 16.

A video shared online shows the intending couple and their guests taking to their heels as men of the task force stormed the church service.
