Media personality, Efia Odo has advised her fellow ladies that they must do well to buy gifts for their men once in a while.
Down here in our part of the world, it’s always expected of men to buy gifts. On birthdays, the man is expected to send some money, take his girlfriend out on a date and shower her with gifts.
But when it comes to the birthday of the man, the woman only wishes him ‘Happy birthday dear…I wish you all the best” — no gifts, no money, no surprises (there are exceptions anyway).
Well, Efia Odo is of the view that this isn’t supposed to be so. In a tweet, she told her fellow ladies to once in a while pamper their men because everyone loves to be pampered.
She gave examples of buying boxer shorts and filling car tank as some of the things ladies can do to pamper their men.
“Ladies should learn to buy gifts for their men once in a while. Everyone likes to be pampered. Even if it’s filling his tank or buying him new boxers”, her tweet read.
