Haaland moved from Borussia Dortmund to Manchester City in the summer of 2022 for £51 million, with the Premier League club expecting to pay a total of around £85.5 million when agent fees and other costs are factored in. Haaland represented Norway at multiple youth levels before making his senior debut in 2019.
Erling Haaland was born in Leeds, England on July 21, 2000. His father, Alf-Inge Haaland, was a tough-tackling midfielder for Leeds United in the Premier League at the time. Erling and his family moved to Norway when Haaland was three years old, following his father’s retirement from football.
