Franz Joseph was well-known throughout the world as a magnificent Austrian emperor and king of Hungary. In the Dual Monarchy, which he created, Austria and Hungary coexisted as partners on an equal footing.

He was said to have made an alliance with Germany under Prussian rule in the 1880s. His ultimatum to Serbia in 1914 prompted Austria and Germany to enter the First World War.

According to comments made by others about his professionalism, Francis was a decent person. The wife of Franz Joseph, however, felt increasingly constrained by the rigidity of court life despite the fact that she had a good family and was much in love with him.

Although Francis Joseph was known to be the head of state, the emperor has few political responsibilities. Francis’ position, on the other hand, is mostly ceremonial and entails responsibilities like meeting and receiving foreign dignitaries, going to cultural and public events, and possibly adding additional relevant aspects.
