A Ghanaian man, Cuty Bruce Qweci Nelson, has taken to popular Ghanaian Facebook group Tell It All to celebrate after he was finally granted US citizenship.
Elated Qweci who posted a picture of himself holding a large cake with ‘Congratulations now US citizen” written on it, prayed for others to also have the benefit of becoming citizens of America.
He wrote:
“I became a USA citizen on Monday, please come with me to church and give God all the glory, if anyone here is expecting to be a citizen of a foreign country, I place this blessing upon your life, take the baton and receive your citizenship too in Jesus name. Thank you USA ❤??❤??❤??❤??❤??”
His post in the group caused a mixed reaction. Some people were happy for him and wished to be in his shoes while others also commented that being a US citizen isn’t an achievement.
