He was the 1964 American Football League Most Valuable Player, a member of the Patriots Hall of Fame and their All-star1960s Team, the American Football League Hall of Fame, he was also a commentator for the radio broadcasts of the Patriots’ games. He was nicknamed, “The Duke and Mr Patriot”
