S. S. Chakravarthy was an Indian producer who worked in Tamil cinema. He produced numerous Tamil films through his production company, NIC Arts. The majority of S. S. Chakravarthy’s films featured Silambarasan and Ajith Kumar as the main actors. Johnny made his acting debut in the movie Renigunta, which he also co-produced with his son Imran Chakravarthy.
Later, Johnny starred in the 18 Vayasu prequel. Another of S. S. Chakravarthy’s daughters was Shakeel Nila.
Ajith appeared in Chakravarthy’s subsequent films, which included Mugavaree, Citizen, Red, Villain, Ji, Anjaneya, and Varalaru. A few movies include additional actors in them, notably Kadhal Sadugudu with Vikram, Renigunta and 18 Vayasu with his own son, and Kaalai, Vaalu, and the upcoming Vettai Mannan with none other than “chinna superstar” Silambarasan.
