She obtained a Bachelor of Science in science with an emphasis in information management systems from Southern Illinois University. Later, she was employed in St. Louis as a manager of software quality assurance. She earned a master’s degree in business administration from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville. She eventually relocated to Los Angeles nonetheless in order to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
She successfully finished the two-year Meisner acting intensive program at the Joanne D. Baron/D.W. Brown Studio in Los Angeles. Former students of the acclaimed Midsummer in Oxford Programme of the British American Drama Academy include Ruth Negga, Paul Giamatti, Tracie Thoms, and the late Chadwick Boseman. Chambers also contributed to this project.
