Mother of Atletic Bilbao star man, Inaki Williams has finally revealed the main reason her son choose to represent Spain ahead of his motherland Ghana.

The Ghana football association did their very best to convince the pacy forward to consider honoring a black star call up but he declined them all.

With many people wondering why he snubbed the chance to play for Ghana at the National considering he is only considered good enough for the Spanish U21, his mother could actually be the real reason because she can’t stand the raft of football experts and critics in the country.

“I can’t take the insults and abuse Ghanaians give to players after they fail in tournaments, it’s too much that parents of their players receive their own share of insults and abuses especially their mothers. Asamoah Gyan’s mum is a typical example.” She was quoted saying by GTV Sports plus.

Inaki was born in Bilbao to Ghanaian parents, Felix Williams and Maria Arthur who reportedly reached Spain by crossing the desert on foot and jumping the Melilla border fence.
