During their early career days of AKA, he was known to have alongside some friends formed a lot of groups relating to music like Entity, The I.V, and the like.
AKA’s first album with the title “Alta Ego” gained a lot of substance and notoriety and even to the extent of getting a certification by RiSA when it gained a lot of trends and success. For that particular album, AKA was known to have been credited with the 2011 Metro FM Awards in the category for Best Hip Hop Album. In the year 2012, AKA was known to have won the Best Male artist in the South African Music awards.
