April Kramar first met Jack Douglas, her future boss, while working as a waitress in New York City’s West Side at the hip music venue Mikell’s.
He was helping her boyfriend with his band at the time. Back in ’84, April began managing Karen Lawrence’s band.
She was requested to travel to California and assist while staying at the L’Ermitage. In June 1979, Joey and April Kramar exchanged vows in New Rochelle, New York.
In 1981, the couple welcomed a son named Jesse Sky Kramer after waiting two years.
Joey and April both conquered drug addictions.
They have grown more resilient as a result of it, and they have learned their lesson.
