Bob Barker Barker lost his father when he was a very young child. Barker was born on December 12th, 1923 in the city of Darrington, Washington. On the Rosebud Indian Reservation in Mission, South Dakota, he and his brother Kent Valandra lived with his mother, Matilda, who was a teacher, up until he was in the eighth grade.
During that time, he was the only member of his family to attend middle school. After Matilda’s retirement, the family uprooted their lives and settled in Springfield in the state of Missouri.

In 1950, Bob relocated to California in order to fulfil his lifelong dream of having a career in radio or television broadcasting. There was granted his own radio show, which was known as The Bob Barker Show. It was broadcasted out of Burbank for the subsequent six years.
Indeed, he is in good health and is still living. As in the month of July in the year 2022, Bob Barker will have reached the age of 98. Before the year 2022 comes to a close, he will have celebrated his 99th birthday.
