Is David Carradine Still Alive Or Dead?

In order to conduct a second death investigation in addition to the one that was conducted by Thai authorities after Carradine was found hanging in the closet of his hotel suite in Bangkok, Carradine’s family hired Dr. Michael Baden, a forensic pathologist located in New York, on June 4.

Baden had already said that the actor’s death was not a suicide, even though there haven’t been many autopsy data released and he maintained on Wednesday that his full analysis of how Carradine died won’t be complete for at least a week.

According to Baden, the cause of death was asphyxiation, or the inability to breathe; the precise cause of this is still being looked into.

Soon after Carradine’s death, Thai authorities performed the first autopsy on him; on June 8, they announced that it would take a month to determine the cause of death. Early in the investigation, a colonel of Thai police told Reuters that asphyxiation was most likely the cause of death.

The ligatures, or knots that bind, that were on Carradine’s body when he passed away enabled Baden, the host of cable channel HBO’s “Autopsy” series, to rule out suicide.

According to the nature of the ligatures around the body, he “didn’t die of natural reasons, and he didn’t die of suicidal causes, so that leaves some form of accidental death,” he said.
