In the World we live in today, Education comes in various forms. Informal and Formal all alike. The issue of not going to school’s illegality is a broad range of discussion we will be having. In Africa for instance, Education has taken more adverse effects in the formal setting of classroom activities is every parent’s responsibility to make their wards enroll in school. In Africa again, the other side of education that takes place outside the classroom setting is the home type of education. In the past schools were not predominant like it is today. Parents taught their children informal essential virtues, acts of responsibility, and how to go about household management.

Is it illegal to not go to school?

Yes… A child who refuses to go to school will have to face school authorities and punishments that will be meted out. Today, the school in the classroom setting has come to stay and parents who refuse their child to go to school denies the child so much. In Ghana, the right to Education is paramount, and parents must educate their children to fit into society.

In the United States, school attendance is strictly legalized and a child is known and expected to satisfy the entire period of a program. The Texas Family Code is living proof.
