Tiffani Faison is a renowned American chef and television personality, she is known for her appearances on popular culinary shows like “Top Chef” and “Chopped.”

She was born in Germany, grew up in a military family, and moved frequently during her childhood. She developed an early love for cooking, which led her to pursue a career in the culinary arts.

Faison studied culinary arts at the Cambridge School of Arts, from 2002 to 2003. Just before she made an appearance on Top Chef, Faison worked at Daniel Boulud’s chef de partie at his renowned, Michelin Star restaurant in the Wynn Las Vegas.
She also worked at the Tao restaurant at The Venetian in the same city. In 2006, Faison opened her first restaurant, Rocca Kitchen & Bar, in Boston’s South End. The restaurant was an instant success and received critical acclaim for its innovative Italian cuisine.
She followed up with another restaurant, Sweet Cheeks Q, which specializes in Southern-style barbecue. She was named “Best Chef in the Northeast” by the James Beard Foundation in 2018 and has been a finalist for the award in previous years.
