Former CF Montreal player and assistant coach Jason Di Tullio passed away suddenly from cancer. Jason Di Tullio was 38 years old. The MLS group acknowledged his passing.

 

Di Tullio, a former Canadian youth international, represented his country at the 2003 FIFA U-20 World Cup in the United Arab Emirates as well as the 2001 Francophone Games in Ottawa and Hull.

 

Jason Di Tullio assisted men’s Olympic qualifying head coach Mauro Biello by working with the Canadian U17, U20, and U23 teams in March 2021. From 2002 to 2007, Di Tullio was a member of the pre-MLS team for Montreal.

 

Jason Di Tullio, who grew up in Montreal’s RDP, praised his parents for bringing him to every soccer practice when he was a kid since it helped him make a name for himself in the sport, including playing for the Montreal Impact and winning a league title in 2004. Di Tullio was diagnosed with Stage 4 glioblastoma last year; this aggressive illness has a very terrible prognosis and no recognized treatments. Cancer patient Jason Di Tullio had surgery, radiation treatment, and chemotherapy.
