Jessica Stenson, born Jessica Trengove, is an Australian long distance runner born on 15 August 1987 in Naracoorte, South Australia, Australia. She has the nicknames Trenny and Jess. In 2022, she won a gold medal in the marathon at the Commonwealth Games which is being held in Birmingham.
As a long distance runner, she competes in the 1500 meters, 5000 meters, 10000 meters, half-marathon and marathon races. In primary school, where she began her racing career, she ran south-east cross country. In 2000, she was selected to represent South Australia in the cross-country team. She was awarded the People’s Choice Award at the 2016 Advertiser/Channel 7 Sport Star of the Year awards.
