The indictment states that in the summer of 2011, Ray moved into a one-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side with a number of housemates. The indictment claims that there, he “continued his pattern of lecturing the victims and holding ‘therapy’ sessions, during which he gathered sensitive details about their private lives, vulnerabilities, and mental health difficulties.
He allegedly alienated several of the victims from their parents over the course of over a decade and “subjected his victims to sexual and psychological manipulation and physical abuse,” according to the indictment.
