President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reacted with joy to news that Twitter has chosen Ghana to build it’s headquarters for operations in Africa.

The CEO of Twitter Jack Dorsey broke the exciting news in a Twitter post via his own handle and the details indicates Ghana has been considered a vibrant community that Twitter’s operations across the continent can be situated.

“Today, in line with our growth strategy, we’re excited to announce that we are now actively building a team in Ghana. To truly serve the public conversation, we must be more immersed in the rich and vibrant communities that drive the conversations taking place every day across the African continent. “
