Robert Gabriel Helenius is a Swedish-Finnish professional boxer. He was born on January 2, 1984, in Stockholm, Sweden. He has won many heavyweight championships at the regional level, including the European title twice between the years 2011 and 2016, and he has held these titles. At the European Championships in 2006, he competed in the amateur division and earned a silver medal. His victories over Lamon Brewster, Samuel Peter, and Siarhei Liakhovich, all of whom were formerly world heavyweight champions, are particularly noteworthy.

At the 2001 Finnish Amateur Boxing Championships, Helenius lost to Janne Katajisto in the first round of the super heavyweight division. Katajisto went on to win the gold medal. The next year, Katajisto won the final by beating Helenius.

In 2005, Helenius beat David Price on points at Mianyang, but then he lost to Rustam Saidov.

2006, on the other hand, was his big year. At the European Amateur Boxing Championships in Plovdiv in 2006, he came in second, losing to Timurziev again, but this time on points. At this point, Helenius had won every fight by knockout, including the one against Bogdan Dinu.
