Tim Kaine, a politician from the United States whose full name is Timothy Michael Kaine, was elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012 as a Democrat and took office as Virginia’s senator the following year. He was made on February 26, 1958, in St. Paul, Minnesota. He had previously held the office of the state governor (2006–10). He was chosen by Hillary Clinton to be her vice presidential running mate in the 2016 presidential election.

In Kansas City, Missouri, where his father ran an ironworking business, Kaine was raised. He attended Harvard Law School (J.D., 1983) after earning a B.A. in economics from the University of Missouri in 1979, taking a year off to run a Jesuit technical college in Honduras.

Three kids were born to Kaine and Anne Holton. Nat, Woody, and Annella, their sons. Nat Kaine, the oldest of the Kaine kids, earned her ROTC degree from George Washington University in 2012. He has been on active service as a Marine Corps reservist since January 2013.

Compared to his older brother, Woody, Kaine’s second son, maintains a considerably lower profile.

Unlike her father, Annella Kane is forging a more imaginative path. Annelle, who majored in theater while attending New York University, graduated in 2017.
