The first female and black vice president of the United States of America, Kamala Harris has been commended for performing the first gay marriage in California and standing up for Gay people.
“To have a woman of color that is also gay friendly as the vice president is more than I could have ever dreamed of.”- says Ricky Lee on Facebook as he expressed his joy after Biden defeat Trump in the US presidential election 2020.

“When I saw you perform the first gay marriage in California I knew I was on your side because you were on mine.
The way you stood up for gay people is heroic and may have even hurt you politically but you did it anyway and GOD I LOVE YOU FOR IT!
I am shaking as I write this because I did not think you guys were going to be able to do this with all the hate from the Right but Love Trumps Hate and you are a true HERO to so many now but you would of been a HERO to me even if you had not won.
To have a woman of color that is also gay friendly as the vice president is more than I could have ever dreamed of! I am amazed and I am more proud to be American than I ever have been!.”
