He was a sportscaster whose 67 seasons of game calling for the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball made him most famous.

There have been numerous records broken in Major League Baseball history between 1876 and 2013, including 281 no-hitters, legendary World Series performances, and 23 perfect games. According to several sources, Vin Scully has televised three perfect games, 19 no-hitters, 25 World Series, and 12 All-Star games.

He was a student of Fordham preparatory school in New York.

Vin Scully worked for CBS sports from 1975 to 1982 and NBC Sports from 1983 and 1989.

He was the son of American couple Vincent Scully, a silk salesman and Bridget Scully, his mother who was a house maker. He also had a sister who died of cancer at the age of 65.

Furthermore, he passed away on August 2, 2022, at the age of 94 years in Hidden hills, California.
