Anurag Kashyap was born on 10 September 1972. He is a famous Indian filmmaker and actor by profession. Anurag is also the co-founder of a film production company known as Good Bad Films. As a filmmaker, he has as well co-produced a number of films that have gone viral and on to film festivals across the globe but are yet to release theatrically. In the year 2012, Kashyap produced the film titled The Last Act. It is India’s first collaborative feature film from a total of twelve movie directors to make ten-minute maximum short films, where each film was a part of a larger story written by Anurag himself. His father is known as Sri Prakash Singh. He is a retired Chief Engineer. Anurag who is well known for his works in Hindi cinema, has received several accolades which include four Filmfare Awards. This achievment count to his contributions to films. For same reason, the Government of France awarded Anurag the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in the year 2013.
