Vin Scully was a sportscaster in America, and he was great at his work and people knew him to be the caller for 67 seasons of games for major league baseballs in Los Angeles Dodgers.

He was born in The Bronx, New York, U.S. on the 29 November 1927, and he died on 2 August 2022. He was the longest broadcaster who worked with the Dodgers in the history.

Sandra Scully who is the beloved wife of Dodgers Hall of Fame announcer Vin Scullys passed away on Sunday at the age of 76 after she was battling with ALS for year’s.

 

She died leaving behind the children, Catherine, Kelly, Erin, Todd, Kevin and Michael as well as 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren in the care of the husband to look after them.

The Dodger President and CEO Stan Kasten made a statement about the death of the wife that, “We are saddened to learn of the passing of Sandi Scully, the wife of Vin and a member of the Dodger family,”. “Sandi was Vin’s biggest fan since the husband was working with the Dodgers and was always there and supporting him at Dodger Stadium until she began to battle with ALS.
She was truly a good wife and the Scully family’s rock which supported them, and she will be dearly missed.”

Sandi was born on 27 December 1944 in Cascade, Virginia and then met his husband Vin while working as an executive assistant for the Los Angeles Rams. The couple married in November 1973, and she was the wind beneath his wings.
