50 Cent tried repairing his relationship with Marquise, but the feud between the ex-couple made it impossible. In a 2014 interview, 50 Cent claimed that Marquise saw him through Tompkins’ point of view, which ultimately threw their relationship down the drain. Tompkins believed otherwise and blamed her ex’s mental abuse towards their son for the estranged relationship with Marquise.
Marquise tried to mend his relationship with the rapper during 50 Cent’s grandmother’s funeral. During that time, Marquise kissed his dad on the forehead after years of no communication.
