The freelance Journalist is asking few questions following government’s decision to fly a jet to Kenya to purchase a drug to save the life of Prof Jacob Plange-Rhule, rector for College of Physicians and Surgeons, who passed away due to coronavirus infection.

An earlier post he (Manasseh) shared on his page reported that, one Dr. Anthony Nsiah-Asare revealed in an interview on News file that, a Chinese research showed that, a drug called Actemra which used in the treatment of Rheumatoid Arthritis could be administered to coronavirus patients before the disease get to an inflammatory stage.

This drug according to him could be found in Kenya so the presidential jet was flown there to get it but the the professor died before the Jet arrived.

Following these measures taken by government to save the Surgeon’s life at all cost, Manasseh Azure who feels that the government was discriminatory towards the ordinary Ghanaian, took to his Facebook page to ask these few thought provoking questions:

“At what point did you realize this drug was needed for Covid-19 treatment? Was it before or only when the renowned physician specialist was involved? If you knew earlier, why did you not stock it? And if it wasn’t the surgeon, but any other ordinary patient, would you have flown the Presidential jet to Kenya? And what measures have you put in place to forestall such circumstances in the future even as we try to battle our way out of this pandemic maze?”

What do you think of these questions?
