What are the chances of you making it? how likely are you going to be successful?.

After watching interviews of hundreds and listening to hundreds of CEOs, athletes, and celebrities and also some the most successful people in the world, I ask myself that question… what is it that makes the successful successful?

I’ve always been fascinated by the mindset of the super successful; they are disciplined, Focused and their determination in the face of difficulty… what makes them different?

These are not the series, these are signs.

Let’s see how many of these signs do you have?

1. Successful people have great habit unsuccessful people have lousy habits habits like smoking, drinking, taking drugs, watching too much TV.

You see successful people are where they are today because of their habits.

Habits determine 95% of a person’s behaviour. Everything that you are today, everything that you will accomplish in the future is determined by the quality of the habit that you fought.

What I found that is, the very best people have the best habit. Successful people are simply those with successful habits. Successful habits could be getting up in the morning meditate, reading, exercising regularly.

How many of these habits do you have.?

2. Successful people are incredibly driven; how driven are you? am not talking about you being a nightmare to work with or bowling other people, I’m talking about you pushing yourself to get results.

Is your personal drive that turns your ideas into actions, into resul, It is your personal Drive that keeps you going when things get tough, it is your personal Drive that enables you to bounce back from disappointment, from setback.

So how driven are you? or are are you lazy?, do you procrastinate, do you put things off easy? Dan Lok said; “for the first five years of my career I didn’t take a single day off I was working 10, 12, 14 hours every single days for five-year streak, why because I was driven, I was driven to provide for my family I was driven to prove other people wrong and today I am driven by my mission”.

How driven are you ?

3. Successful people are confident in their abilities.; the two biggest enemies to success;

1. self-doubt

2. The fear of the Unknown.

We struggled with self-doubt. Are we ready for this?, are we good enough? do we actually have what it takes to succeed?

Confidence is nothing more than believing in yourself and believing in yourself has nothing more than doing the things that you once didn’t believe that you could do.

Confidence comes from competence. Is easy to believe in yourself when everyone believes in you. That’s not what I’m talking about…. I’m talking about believing in yourself when you’re not ready, believing yourself when no one believes you, believe in yourself when everyone doubts you that you cannot do it, that you cannot make it.

That is when you need to develop the unshakable self-confidence. Believe that you can do it and confidence is not the same as arrogance. Arrogance is thinking that you’re above everybody else… one is above you. Do you feel confident enough in your own abilities that you can do it? are you willing to bet on yourself?… not just words but action.

4. Successful people have a growth mindset .– Successful people never stop learning. They read books and listen podcasts that can give them new ideas. You have to keep learning.

5. Successful people embrace; Do you embrace failure or do you take failure personal?. successful people they are ridiculously positive about the future. They always speak positively about their future… where things are going as if it has already happened even though there’s no way that it could happened.

They believe in themselves but they have positive expectations about their future.

Walt Disney was a fire by the news editor saying that he had no imagination and no creativity but he became successful.

You will notice the most successful people in any field, they are usually the ones who have failed than anybody else.

The difference between a successful person and everyone else is not a luck of strength…. is not a lack of knowledge… is a lack of will.

Winston Churchill said success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm.

6. They have high EQ … not IQ but EQ;

They may not be the smartest people in the world but they surround themselves with smart people.

They may not be the best students in the world but yet they demonstrate a high degree of emotional intelligence.

When it comes to success EQ eats IQ for breakfast. Now, IQ mostly is generic. what you’re born with, however, EQ could be developed, Leaned and refined.

Successful people they have a high degree of emotional intelligence meaning that they don’t crack under pressure. They stay calm, They know how to deal with stress. They know how to deal with anxiety even when things don’t go their way.

Successful people also very self-aware meaning that they know what they’re good at, what they are not good at, what their strengths are and what their weaknesses are. They know how to manage their emotions.

They refused to feel inadequate, resentful and disappointed when failure hit them.
