The Golden Girls is an American television series created by Susan Harris, the show aired on NBC from 1985 to 1992. It starred four older ladies, Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, and Estelle Getty. The show was about four older ladies living together in Miami, Florida.
The show was highly successful, it won several awards; the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series, Golden Globe Awards for Best Television Series – Musical or Comedy and Emmy Awards, making it one of only four television shows in the award’s history to achieve this.

Sadly, the four ladies of The Golden Girls have passed away. Estelle died at 84 in 2008, Bea died at the age of 86 in 2009, Rue died in 2010 at the age of 76, and Betty died a few weeks before her 100th birthday in 2021.
