Cosby started performing in clubs in 1961, by 1963, he was on The Tonight Show.
In 1983, he released the concert film Bill Cosby: Himself, a huge success. After the success of The Cosby Show, he embarked on other projects like the Ghost Dad, which was a box office bomb.
In 2015, over 33 women accused Cosby of rape, sexual battery and drug-facilitated sexual assault.
On April 26, 2018, he was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand and sentenced to three to ten years.
On June 30, 2021, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court overturned Cosby’s conviction and Cosby was released from prison the same day after serving three years.
