Due to a family issue, former Trump campaign manager Bill Stepien will no longer attend before the House select committee investigating January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol on Monday, according to the committee.

According to a person acquainted with the situation, Stepien’s wife went into labor, prompting the committee to relieve him from his subpoena for the day.
