Robert Lane Saget was an American actor and comedian. He is known for his role in Fuller House and the voice of the narrator on the CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
Saget featured briefly in the television show The Morning Program in 1987. He was then offered the role of Danny Tanner in the ABC sitcom Fuller House which aired from 1987 through 1995.
In 1989, he began hosting America’s Funniest Home Videos.
In 2005, he voiced the narrator on How I Met Your Mother 2005 to 2014. He performed at different scheduled events as a stand-up comedian.
From 2016 to 2020, Saget reprised his role as Danny Tanner for fifteen episodes of Full House‘s sequel series, Fuller House, including the series premiere and finale.

On January 9, 2022, Bob Saget was found unresponsive in his hotel room in the Ritz Carlton, Florida. Sadly, he was pronounced dead by paramedics at the age of 65 years.
After an autopsy, he was ruled he died from an accidental blow to the back of his head, likely from a fall.
