Is Scott Peterson Still Alive or Dead?

Scott Lee Peterson is an American-convicted murderer. He killed his wife Laci, who was pregnant at the time in California.

Scott Lee Peterson was born October 24, 1972, to Lee Arthur Peterson and Jacqueline “Jackie” Helen Latham. Scott wanted to be a golfer, he enrolled in Arizona State University but was kicked out of the program. He went on to California Polytechnic State University where he majored in Agriculture.

Scott met his wife in 1994 and by 1997 they tied the knot. In 2002, he began an affair with a Fresno massage therapist. His wife, Laci was reported missing on December 25, 2002 and her body was found on April 13, 2003. Scott was arrested on April 18, 2003 and charged with two felony counts of murder.

After a six months trial, Scott was found guilty and sentenced to death and a fined $10,000 toward the cost of Laci’s funeral. On August 24, 2020, his death sentence was overturned and re-sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.

Scott Peterson is alive and serving his prison sentence at San Quentin State Prison. He did have a tough time settling into the prison and was unable to sleep but after two decades he has adjusted to life behind bars.
