The Zodiac Killer is an unidentified serial killer who terrorized people in North Carolina in the late 1960s.
There are seven confirmed victims of the Zodiac killer but it is believed his victims are well over that, the killer himself claimed he murdered 37 people.
The killer taunted police and the media with his series of letters that he signed using the zodiac symbol.
The letters were sometimes written in codes like cryptograms, which had to be solved by the FBI. He claimed the victims were taken as “slaves” for the afterlife.

Over the years, the Zodiac killer ceased communication and the killings stopped. It is unknown if the killer died suddenly or had a change of heart.
However it is unlikely the killer is still alive, the two major suspects Arthur Leigh Allen and Gary Francis Poste are dead. Hopefully, with the advancement of technology in DNA testing, this 52 years mystery will be solved.
