About RB Leipzig Football Club
Leipzig, also known as RB Leipzig, is a professional football club in Leipzig, Saxony, Germany. The club competes in the Bundesliga, which is the highest level of football in Germany. Founded in 2009 by Red Bull GmbH, RB Leipzig was established to reach the Bundesliga within eight years.
The club is managed by RasenBallsport Leipzig GmbH, a spin-off organization. RB Leipzig plays their home matches at the Red Bull Arena and is affectionately referred to as “Die Roten Bullen” or “The Red Bulls”. In their debut season in 2009-10, RB Leipzig dominated the NOFV-Oberliga Süd (V) and secured promotion to the Regionalliga Nord (IV) as champions.
Their impressive performance in the 2016-17 Bundesliga earned them a spot in the UEFA Champions League for the first time. RB Leipzig made it to the semi-finals of the 2019-20 UEFA Champions League, where they were defeated by France’s Paris Saint-Germain.

For up-and-coming talent, this means following an individual path with us based on our awareness of norms and values and being part of our holistic, innovative and specific promotion of young talent.
To be able to pursue this path purposefully and successfully, we take responsibility for the holistic development of our talents and are aware of our role as role models. We always focus on our core sports, social and school skills.
Our goal is to introduce our young players to professional football and to develop responsible and independent personalities.
Syllabus At RB Leipzig Football Club Academy
The academy cooperates with the youth academies of FC Red Bull Salzburg, New York Red Bulls and Red Bull Brasil. The academy also cooperated with the youth academy of the now-dissolved Red Bull Ghana. The cooperation covers several areas, primarily scouting, medicine and training philosophy.
How To Apply For Trials At RB Leipzig Football Club Academy
Applications for trial training are only possible for players from U8 to U14. Only complete applications with a photo will be processed.
International applications will only be processed if the applicant is a current U-national in his country and is older than 16 years.

Eligibility Criteria To Apply For Trials At RB Leipzig Football Club Academy
Applications for trials are open to players from the Under 8 to Under 14 age categories. Only full applications complete with a picture will be processed.
International applications will only be considered when the applicant is older than 16 and is a current youth team player for their national side.
