There’s a new Weather Warning from Ghana Meteorological Agency:

WEATHER WARNING 30/04/2020
➢ The ocean of Benin is engulfed today April 30, 2020 at 1300 GMT by a rainstorm steadily moving from the east towards the west.

➢ The storm is expected to track over the ocean of Ghana casting cloudiness over the coastal cities later this afternoon.

➢ Coastal cities in the Volta and Greater Accra regions are expected to be mostly cloudy with pockets of slight to moderate rains between 1430 GMT and 1800 GMT. Areas to be affected include Aliso, Anloga, Feyito, Ada, Prampram, Tema and Teskie.

➢ The Central and western regions are however expected to experience moderate to heavy rains between 1500 GMT and 2000 GMT. Places around Winneba, Senya Breica, Agona Swedru, Cape Coast, Eimina, Mtn, Takoradi, Tarkwa and Prestea will be most affected.

➢ Localized development of rain clouds are also expected to produce mins over parts of the Eastern region this afternoon.

NB: Bulk of the storm is expected to track over the ocean and as such not all the coastal areas will experience the rains.
Update of the rainstorm will be issued as and when necessary.
