In the youthful days of Igor Vysotsky, he was peaked about 5 feet 11 inches or 181 centimeters tall and weighed about 202 lbs or 92 kilograms as well. Vysotsky graduated from the Magadan Teachers Training Institute and then became a Physical Education teacher.

As a professional boxer, Igor Vysotsky fought in the Heavyweight division where he became the Soviet Heavyweight Champion in 1978. Vysotsky retired from professional boxing in the year 1980.
