Cena was born on April 23, 1977. He attended Springfield College where he graduated with a degree in exercise physiology in 1999. He started professional wrestling in 1999.
The next year he made his WWF debut on the ring of SmackDown. In 2002, he won his first title, WWE Tag Team Champions with fellow wrestler Billy Kidman. By 2007, he was the WWE Champion.
Cena’s first major movie was The Marine in 2006. He also starred in the drama The War. He has starred in other movies like; Surf’s Up 2: WaveMania, Ferdinand, Daddy’s Home 2, Playing with Fire and Dolittle. In 2019, he became a part of the Fast and Furious franchise starring along Vin Diesel in F9.
