Macaulay Culkin is an American actor. Often regarded as one of the most successful child actors of the 1990s. He is best known for his role as Kevin McCallister in the first two films of the Home Alone film series (1990 and 1992) and Richie Rich.
Culkin was born on August 26, 1980, to a stage actor in New York City. He started acting at the age of four in the film Bach Babies and went on to make his feature film debut Rocket Gibraltar in 1988. He worked with Jeff Bridge and Drew Barrymore in the 1989 comedy, comedy film See You in the Morning.
Culkin got his breakthrough role in 1990 when he was the lead in the acclaimed Home Alone and was nominated for a Golden Globe Award and won an American Comedy Award. He also appeared in Michael Jackson’s music video “Black and White”.
Culkin retired from acting in 1994 to live a normal life and made several appearances in films from 2009.
