“He is not on the ventilator. Has been hospitalized for the last 3 weeks due to a complication of his ailment (Amyloidosis). Going through a difficult stage where recovery is not possible and organs are malfunctioning. Pray for ease in his daily living,” the family of Pervez Musharraf declared in a tweeted statement.

Pervez Musharraf is a political activist in Pakistan who was known to become the tenth president of Pakistan after a military takeover exercise was undertaken to overthrow the government that was exhibiting acts of incapability.

According to the reports, he held the presidency role for close to a period of 8 years.

The family of the former president has debunked claims by the general public about the death reports of Pervez Musharraf which has been going around his health situation about organ malfunction.

Pervez is not dead according to the family, he has been reported to be alive and not on a ventilator.

The family has detailed the fact that he is going through a very severe stage where his recovery might not be possible at the time.

The once General was declared a fugitive in the murder case of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto murder case and Red Mosque cleric killing case.
