Tommy Dysart born 24 December 1935 was a Scottish-born Australian actor who was best known for his work in television dramas and comedies, as well as character roles in movies and miniseries.

Dysart began his career as a vocalist and theatre performer after graduating from NIDA in 1959.

Skippy the Bush Kangaroo, Phoenix Five, and various parts in Crawford Productions’ police drama series Homicide, Division 4, Matlock Police, and Cop Shop were among his early high-profile roles.

In the early 1980s, Dysart made a brief appearance in the series Prisoner, in which he played the nasty and icy prison guard Jock Stewart, which is possibly his most well-known acting role.

Dysart continued to guest star in drama series and situation comedies after that, as well as in a number of feature films.

The Man from Snowy River (1982), Bliss (1985), Garbo (1992), and Flynn (1993) were among his films (1996).

Altogether Now, The Games, State Coroner, Blue Heelers, Something in the Air, and Neighbours were among the television shows in which she appeared in the 1990s. In Anthony Lucas’ animated short film The Mysterious Geographic Explorations of Jasper Morello, he also performed the voice for Captain Griswald (2005).
