Nigerian actor Yul Edochie has once again come out with his words of wisdom.
This time, he tackled men who date ‘career women’ and just after marriage, they force her to become a housewife.
Yul noted that women deserve to be successful and achieve their dreams too.
He went on to say that if a man doesn’t want his wife to work or do business, then it’s better he goes for a woman that doesn’t want to do anything. Because that’ll be a perfect match.
The award-winning screen icon tweeted:
“Don’t marry a career lady and force her to stay at home. You fail am bros. Women deserve to be successful and achieve their dreams too. If you don’t want your wife to work or do business simply marry the one that doesn’t want to do anything. You’ll have a great life together.”
A fan, DJ Simon, tried to challenge Yul’s ideology. He remarked that no man can have a successful marriage if his wife is not a housewife.
Simon tweeted: “My brother,if you give your wife free chance to do what she wants in the name of “career lady or hard work” , you will surely regret it…. women are dangerous.”
In reply, Yul addressed him that he has been together with his wife for the past 22 years and even though she works on her own, their relationship has been a great one.
