Leader and Founder of the Rockhill Church based in Atlanta, Dr. Sonnie Badu reacted after his son, Odion Ighalo, scored his first goal for Man United against Club Brugge.
Odion Ighalo opened his Manchester United goal account following his dream January transfer.
Ighalo scored on his full debut in the 34th minute after converting from close range to double his side’s lead against Club Brugge.
Bruno Fernandes, who scored United’s first goal, pinged a delightful ball to Juan Mata who squared the ball to Ighalo who tapped in to score his first goal for the club.
The Nigerian striker wheeled away in celebration and revealed a touching tribute to his sister who tragically passed away.
Right after scoring Dr. Sonnie Badu who has been praying for Ighalo and constantly posting about him on his social media handles, thanked Jesus for the goal and the big win.
Odion Ighalo is the first Nigerian to play for Manchester United.
