Boy George is an English singer, songwriter, DJ, fashion designer and record producer. He is the lead singer of the pop band “Culture Club” known for their hits “Karma Chameleon” and “Do You Really Want to Hurt Me”.

This English singer was born George Alan O’Dowd on 14 June 1961. His androgynous style of dressing caught the attention of a music executive who paired him with the group Bow Wow, Wow, but it did not work and George left the group.

Boy George went on to form the Culture Club in 1981, and they recorded their debut album Kissing to Be Clever in 1982. It became an international hit, reaching No. 1 in multiple countries around the world. The band enjoyed fame until 1986 when they went their separate ways.

In 1987, George released his first solo album Sold, which was a success in Europe. In 1989, he created his own label, “More Protein”.
