Christopher Lee Watts is an American known for killing his wife and two children. Watts was born on May 16, 1985 in North Carolina. He met his wife, Shanann Rzucek in 2010 and by November, 2012, they were married. The couple had two daughters, Bella Marie Watts and Celeste Cathryn “CeCe” Watts. Chris worked with Anadarko Petroleum and his wife worked with a multi-level marketing company Le-Vel.

Shanann and the girls were reported missing on August 13, 2018, the police searched the house and found Shanann’s purse and personal effects still in the house. Watts was arrested two days later for failing a polygraph test, he eventually confessed to murdering Shanann. The bodies of his wife and daughters were found, the girls were found in crude oil storage tanks.

Christopher pleaded guilty to the murders on November 6 and he was sentenced to five life sentences on November 16.
