He received his undergraduate degree from Indiana University, where he attended. The Indiana University School of Medicine is where he received his M.D. He did an internship at the Methodist Hospital of the IU Health after school. Cline later served for two years in the Air Force and was a reserve for 12 years.
In Indianapolis, Donald established his own practice and became an expert in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. He worked there until 2009, when he decided to retire. Without telling his patients that he was a sperm donor, Dr. Cline had a number of children between the years of 1974 and 1987.
By May 11th, 2022, it had been established that he was the biological father of 94 children who had been conceived by doctors. In the year 2018, he was found guilty.
